Black velour is the heavyweight. Dense pile, deep matte finish, near-zero light reflection — if a fixture lights it from any angle, the drape stays black instead of glowing. This is what you want behind a keynote stage, lining the back wall of a broadcast set, or anywhere lighting design will be active during the program. Black banjo is the lighter-weight workhorse for skirting, side legs, and full-wall masking when budget or pure mass matters. Our pipe-and-drape rigs reach up to 16 feet tall and 700 feet wide — large enough to backdrop the largest hotel ballrooms in town. We adjust drop heights, panel widths, and corner returns to match the room, and we deliver, set up, and strike. Every panel is steamed before deployment so the drape hangs flat and uniform — not bunched and crinkled like the rental drape you’ve seen at lower-budget events. Both are sized for a Shure MX412 gooseneck mic (which we also rent) and built to support a laptop, water bottle, and notes without crowding.
