Extraordinary Experiences,
Built by Hand.

On September 18th, Dye Collective introduced itself to Nashville with its first signature event at The Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington — and the room said everything the brand wanted to say. Elevated, intentional, unforgettable. Country-chic with real craftsmanship behind it.

For more than a decade, Natalie and Ashley Dye have been working together — and this was the night that partnership took on a new name and a new identity. When Dye Collective needed a design partner who could turn a vision into physical objects, they called us.

The Build: The Cowboy Hat Chandelier — And Everything Under It

The custom cowboy hat chandelier built by Nashville Audio Visual — three tiered wooden rings, every cowboy hat fitted with its own Edison bulb, hanging over the green bar at The Barn at Sycamore Farms
The cowboy hat chandelier — three tiers, built by hand in the NAV shop. The star of the night at The Barn at Sycamore Farms.

Ask anyone who was there what they remember, and it's the same answer: the cowboy hat chandelier. It was the star of the night — a tiered fixture built from concentric rings, every hat wired with its own warm Edison bulb so the whole thing glowed from the inside out. Not a rental. A Nashville Audio Visual original, built in our shop.

It isn't the only one we've built, either. We keep three on the shelf in the warehouse — one large and two medium — each one assembled and wired by hand. A fixture like that only exists because someone sat down with a pile of hats and figured out how to make them hang right. That's the shop's job.

Looking for a Cowboy Hat Chandelier in Nashville?

Ours are available for events across Middle Tennessee and beyond. If you've seen it here and you want it at your own corporate party, brand launch, gala, rehearsal dinner or country-themed celebration, tell us where and when — we'll tell you which one fits the room. And if you need something nobody has built yet, we take on custom fabrication the same way: from a sketch in the shop to a finished piece under your ceiling.

We also build the bars, the serving stations, the floral and lighting fixtures, the props and the signage — and we handle the load-in, set-up and strike, so your design partner can focus on the design. If that's the partnership you're looking for in Nashville, start here.

And the rest of the night was custom too. Nothing under that chandelier came off a truck already assembled. The rustic serving station — the one with the herringbone-pattern reclaimed wood front, the black metal lantern, the framed menu and the chafing dishes on teal — was built in our shop and finished on site. So was the circular green bar that anchored the pavilion, its paneled base and light wood counter crafted to match the venue's palette. Custom from the road case to the roof beam.

The Trailer: From Fabrication Shop to Event Barn

Every element of that event — every custom-built piece, every hat on the chandelier, every foot of string lighting, the bars, the furniture, the draping, the props — was built in Nashville, loaded onto our trailers, hauled out to Arrington and assembled under that pavilion. Then, when the last guest left, it was struck, packed and brought home.

That's the part guests never see and planners never forget: the build happens before the event does. Weeks in the shop. One long day on site. A room that looks like it was always supposed to be that way.

Out past the pavilion, a lounge of sofas and leather chairs faced the water, string lights tracing every beam above, cornhole on the lawn and the barn's own timber gable glowing at sunset. Guests moved from bar to buffet to lawn to lake without ever feeling the seams.

The Result: The Beginning of Dye Collective

Dye Collective's first event did what a launch is supposed to do — it announced a standard. Thoughtful planning, creative direction, trusted partners and seamless execution from start to finish, exactly as promised. The design was theirs. The build was ours. You couldn't tell where one ended and the other began.

Designed by Dye Collective.
Built by NAV.

The best event design in the world still has to be made out of something. When it's made in our shop, from the bar to the chandelier, the design and the build are the same idea — and it shows.
